Venice

The fascination of Venice

The traditions of the Venetians come alive in all their events and celebrations.
They can be seen in the hand-blown glass made on the island of Murano!
And in the precious, hand-embroidered Burano lace!
The magic comes alive in the Venetian songs which invariably accompany gondola rides!
And is present the squares and narrow streets throughout the city.
It can be felt in every palace and church passed on the way to the most important sights in the historic city centre, such as the delightful St. Mark's square and the imposing Rialto Bridge.

But the city of the Doges is also unique because of its squares teaming with Venetians and the charm of its surroundings: the beautiful northern part of the lagoon with its smaller islands and the famous Lido which every years hosts the Cinema Exhibition and which both Venetians and tourists alike flock to over the summer months.
